About us
Lynda Louw Interiors is an owner-operated business which was founded in 2005. We are situated in the picturesque town of Somerset West in the Western Cape. With our “home away from home” and satellite office in George we undertake projects in the Garden Route and Southern Cape as well.
We undertake projects of all sizes which range from basic curtains, blinds & upholstery to project management of entire interior projects.
We love to transform boutique hotels, hotels, lodges, guest houses, residential developments & homes into beautiful interiors whilst being able to provide those clients with something unique.
We highly value the relationships with our clients in order to understand their individual preferences and requirements. These relationships are our most important asset. By working closely together, we ensure that your home is a reflection of you and carries your personal signature.
We have built beautiful relationships with our clients, co-workers and suppliers over the years. Many of which have become friends.
We believe in the philosophy that the client should always receive exactly what they envisioned. This is achieved through skilled consultation and excellent planning of the design and manufacturing process up to the installation and delivery date.

Our Design Process
Consultation, Site Analysis & Concept Design
During our first consultation a site analysis will be done and a design brief will be discussed with the client. We then collaborate all our ideas and inspirations together in a creative session with the client. We draw inspiration from many different things. This can be from aspects such as images, samples of fabrics and materials, the client’s profession, lifestyle or preferences. We then source furniture and fittings, and if required, design bespoke pieces to match the interior.
The best time to commence this process is when architectural plans are drawn up. We easily collaborate with architects and interior designers to ensure that the décor compliments all the design elements. If the project requires the refurbishment of an existing structure, we can be contacted at any time.
Procurement
We do procurement on all our projects. Since 2005, Lynda Louw Interiors has gained respect in the industry for their ability to ensure impeccable quality on their craftsmanship.
Procurement is a special skill and can be highly time consuming. If this is not handled correctly, it has a direct impact on the project. If one item does not arrive on time, or one associate misses their deadline, the entire project can be delayed. This process is managed meticulously. Therefore we handle all negotiations, orders, project management, payments and deliveries.
Project Management
Thorough planning, effective communication and meticulous project management forms the foundation to ensure that each project is delivered on time.
Communication between clients, suppliers, associates and contractors is of the utmost importance when it comes to project management. We are proud of the lasting relationships that we have built over the years with these role players. In these relationships everyone understands our level of quality control and knows exactly what we expect from them. We welcome other teams and easily accommodate them whilst respecting everyone’s timelines through effective communication.
